This is a quick note to all out there in blogger land. A lot has happened to us and the world since I last posted. Well last night we got our first taste of the up coming winter season. At 12:30 a.m. it started to snow and of course it did not lst too long in the city. The outlining ares were not so luck as they had their snow fall stay. This was evident by the cars coming in from the ourskirts with snow still on the vehicles.

It has been a month since hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast and New Orleans and still the blame game and finger pointing is evident. Why not put all that energy into helping the victims and forget what happend and just fix the problem.

On the homefront, MJ had an audition for Proscout yesterday and was a little nervous. Tonight she goes back and hopefully she is accepted. If she is she will go on to Banff for a conference. Mj is very talented in the area of dance and voice. She is already starting to sing the words to songs on the radio and is really good at memorization of those songs. She applies that memorization to her reading as we are reading "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. We are having a little problem with teaching her to read (Rose and I need to learn how to teach). GRade 1 is not only challenging for our daughter but it takes a toll on us as parents also. I am beginning to realize that I am going to be enrolled in grades 1-12 for a long time. I guess the old saying that no one ever stops educating themselves is right on the money.
